Carshalton Lavender

 

 

Carshalton Lavender is a local community group based in the London Borough of Sutton that maintains 3 acres of lavender fields on Stanley Road Allotments (SM5 4NQ) and runs an annual pick your own lavender harvest every July.  Lavender oil is distilled from the remaining flowers to sell throughout the rest of the year.

 

The next community harvest event will be held on the 12th and 13th July 2008, 10am - 4pm at the Stanley Road Allotments in Carshalton.

 

STOP PRESS: Please note that there are engineering works on the harvest

weekend and there will be no trains to

Carshalton Beeches. Bus routes 154 and

S4 (Saturdays only) run close to the field or it is a 20-25 minute walk from

Carshalton station.
